Is this afghan been crocheted with intarsia or tapestry technique?

I personally have never done it either ways but I'm sure it can easily be done with tapestry. Intarsia as well but the gauge would be different and the flower might looked short or stretched.

this afghan is awesome !!!!! You are an artist, not only a crafter! I also think poppies - or tulips - (in red & orange of course!) would look fantastic.

I used Herrscners yarn but any good quality like Bernat, Red Heart or Mary Maxim will do...

yes tunisian stitches can be used and the flower cross stitched over the stitches. This is what I am doing. I love this afghan! It is gorgeous!
