Pattern Description:
Inspired by the layered spikes of blooming lilac flowers, the Lilacs Doily features three concentric rings of cluster stitches in a lovely shade of purple. Natural stopping places in the pattern allow you to make it in one of 3 sizes: small, medium, or large.
US crochet terminology. Written instructions only.
Gauge:
First 3 Rnds = 1" (2.5 cm) diameter

- S=7 1/2" (19 cm), M=12" (30.5 cm), L=18" (46 cm) diameter

About the Designer
I have been crocheting since I was a teenager and started designing crochet patterns several years later. I wanted to make a sweater for my daughter and I couldn't read the crochet patterns. I later taught myself to read patterns. The first pattern I sold was a square sampler baby afghan to Crochet World and I haven't stopped designing since.
