Note: This pattern is written from the toe of the stocking upward; however, I have split the pattern directions into three sections to avoid confusion in row counting (Toe, Heel, Shaft). The pattern is worked in rounds, except for the heel which is worked back and forth in rows. Color changes are encouraged to taste; however, I will not note when and where color changes can occur - choices are endless, and left to your imagination! Mind your stitch counts, especially on popcorn rows; your first popcorn in a row will make the second stitch of that row difficult to locate, and may therefore give a noticeable seam and the appearance of an inaccurate stitch count. Crochet Ties can be finished with pompoms or tassels using your favorite tools and techniques. Pattern for the ties are found on the last page of this pattern. I suggest using the Crochet Tie to hang.
