Pattern Description:

This PATTERN will guide you to crochet a hot water bottle cover as shown on picture, in traditional granny squares combined with lovely heart squares.

A hot water bottle like this will keep you warm and cosy on the coutch or in bed, looks nice hanging in your bathroom and will also make a great personal Valentine's Day gift !

The cover is crocheted from acryllic yarn with hooksize G (4 mm) and suitable for any standard size rubber water bottle. ( 7,87 x 10,63 inch - 20 x 27 cm)
The cover has an opening at the top (spout end), you(tm)ll fold the rubber bottle and insert it through. See pictures.

You can choose any colour of yarn you like and even crochet every round or each heart in a different colour to use up your scraps.

Used stitches : chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet.

Gauge : each square measures approx. 3,54 x 3,54 inch (9 x 9 cm) worked according to pattern.

Finished size will be approx. 39 x 21 cm (15.5 x 8.5 inch) (depending on the length of your
bottle(tm)s spout) Finished size of the hearts approx. 7 cm (2.7 inch) across the widest part.

Pattern is my own original design, described in english, in US terminology.
