Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Crocheting in rounds
  • Working with crochet thread and small hooks

Pattern Description:

This cute doily would make a perfect Valentine's or Mother's Day gift. Make it in the shaded pinks shown, a nice bright red, or even hot pink. The doily is worked in 12 rounds with the heart shapes worked on the final round.

Stitches Used: Chain st (ch). Slip st (sl st). Single crochet (sc). Double crochet (dc). Triple crochet (trc). Double triple crochet (dtrc). Shell: 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc.

US crochet terminology.


First 3 rnds = 1 1/2" in diameter

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 14" (35.5 cm) in diameter
