This coaster is worked in 2 layers: filet crochet for the top white layer and dc rows for the bottom red layer. The pattern includes row/by/row instructions for each layer and a filet crochet chart, for those who prefer working from a chart. The 2 layers are joined together while working the shell edging. The finished coaster has a nice thickness for absorbing moisture, keeping your furniture safe.
This coaster is a nice addition to your Valentine's Day decor. It also makes a lovely gift for a friend!
6 filet mesh = 2"; 6 rows = 1.5"
