Pattern Description:

Decorate in style with this elegant diamond medallion table runner. This is a great project for the intermediate crocheter. In addition to detailed instructions, a graph is also provided for reference. The runner is worked from point to point using a modified shell to created the filled square appearance of filet crochet.

This pattern is written in U.S. terms.


Working in pattern:
19 rows = 4"
10 ch-4 sps/shells = 4-1/2"

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The finished size is 11" wide x 41" long from point to point (not including tassels).
  • Instructions are included to increase the length in 11" increments.


  • Light brown crochet cotton, size 10 - 525 yds. (480 m)
  • Size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook

You Will Also Need:

  • Embroidery floss and 6 mm jump rings for the optional tassels
