Pattern Description:

This an easy spiral pattern which starts with a flat base and builds sides to make any size wool felted bowl! It's fun when using a large crochet hook, wool yarn or roving and novelty yarn, and beads! You will see how easy it is to machine felt or hand felt! Embellished bowls are beautiful gifts and have tons of uses!

Pattern includes instructions, felting directions & information, color photos, and diagrams. Basic US crochet stitches are illustrated including the slip knot, chain, single crochet, increase stitches, and slip stitch.


Not necessary

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 3 inches x 3 inches
  • 4.5 inches x 4.5 inches
  • Make any size bowl!


  • Crochet Hook Size L/11 (8mm) or N/15 (10mm)
  • 1 Ball 100% Wool Yarn or Roving
  • 1 Ball Novelty Yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • Scissors
  • Small Safety Pin
  • Beads, Buttons, or Charms with hole size to fit yarn

Suggested yarn:

150 yards of Bulky weight
