Pattern Description:

There is a slight nip in the air . . . that means that Halloween is right around the corner.

What better way to celebrate this holiday than with a Candy Corn Bunting? This bunting can be made as long or as short as you would like. It can rim a basket, like the one shown, it could be draped across a fireplace, a window, over a doorway . . . any where you would like a little bit of Halloween color.

Then, once you see how much you like this Bunting, I'll bet you will adapt it for other Holidays. Change the colors, and find some adornments for your specific Holiday, and another Bunting will be in the making.

One of the BEST things about this bunting, it can be made out of any size yarn or thread, as long as you chose a crochet hook that goes with your choice of yarn/thread.

I used a worsted weight cotton with a G/6-4.25MM crochet hook and ended up with Candy Corn pieces about 4 inches wide and 4 inches long.

100% of the purchase price for the pattern goes to Natalie's 2nd Chance Shelter, a no-kill dog shelter in my home state of Indiana. It is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.

The "Fur~Babies" and I thank you for your purchase.

Materials:

  • 3 colors of yarn or thread
  • crochet hook that works with the yarn or thread

  • scissors
  • Seasonal Button or charm for each pennant.
