My name is Susan Lowman. I've been crocheting for over 40 years and designing for over 15 years. I have over 200 published crochet designs in various crochet books and magazines. In addition, I blog about crochet and self-publish crochet patterns on my website, TheCrochetArchitect.com. I am also a technical crochet editor and teacher, as well as an active professional member of CGOA.
I learned to knit in the summer of 2013 and I couldn't be more thrilled! I'm having a blast learning more knitting techniques. You'll see some of my knitting designs here on Craftsy, too.
I thank God for the gift of creativity He has given me and I thoroughly enjoy sharing it with others.
Wiggly crochet is a fun technique that is easy to learn. Perfect for decorating, these hot pads and coasters will add a little "pizzazz" to your next holiday celebration!
The complete set of 6 holidays includes Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, July 4th, Halloween and Christmas. This is a special value at just under $2 for each hot pad and coaster pattern in the set.
Each of the 6 sets is also available individually for $4.95.
Each holiday pattern includes 2 wiggly crochet charts: one for the hot pad and one for the coaster, as well as written instructions and a brief tutorial on doing wiggly crochet.
These designs were previously published in the booklet "Hot Stuff for the Holidays" by Jeanette Crews Designs in 2003. Since this company no longer exists, I decided to self-publish these patterns for your stitching and decorating pleasure!
These designs are done in wiggly crochet where the foundation mesh is crocheted first, then the design area is worked on top of the foundation mesh. Give wiggly crochet a try. You'll be glad you did!
Note: I was limited to using only 5 photos in this pattern listing, so the large individual photo of each set is not shown here. You can see a photo of each set in the individual listings in my Craftsy store. The patterns (and photos) of all 6 sets are included in this PDF pattern, though.
