Light as air summer collection. Made with elegant Noro Taiyo Sock yarn (a sock weight yarn) and a size K hook. Bold colors evoke sunsets along exotic beaches. Yarn is a very lightweight silk blend, a hand dyed splurge from Japan. This luxurious piece could pair with a cami and shorts as well as a dress. Supremely girly and full of vintage flair.
Directions are for a unique stitch that I found in an antique crochet magazine, a trellis like stitch with little bobbles in-between that highlight the subtle color transitions. Written pattern for sizes XS, S/M, L/XL, 2X, 3X.
It moves easily from day to evening wear. The soft fiber adds just enough warmth against a breezy night or the air conditioning of a car, restaurant or club.
This shrug will also pack nicely for your vacation. It is light weight and has the habit of gracefully slipping to expose a bare shoulder at the perfect moment.
You'll look great and be oh so comfortable. Figure flattering for all body types.
Approx. 14 inches long in back.
I would love to start a conversation with you to design a custom order; let your imagination guide you. Custom orders and sizes quoted based on your measurements and preferences.
3 bobbles and 3 rows = 2.25 inches
400 yards of Fingering weight
My niece says about me, "Aunt Kim, wherever you go, yarn follows." Yeah, its true.
Mom and I used to sell crocheted Barbie clothes, stuffed animals, and baby clothes at craft fairs. Now, I sell original shrugs, sweaters and patterns on Etsy and Ravelry.
Peace, Love, Crochet!
