Is it a Poncho or is it a Skirt? Why not BOTH?
This versatile item of clothing can be the skirt over your tights or leggings one day, and the poncho to keep you warm the next!
Worked from the bottom up, and gradually decreased, the A-Line shape works just as well as a draw-string skirt, as it does a poncho.
The textured effects of Cross Stitch, mixed with the holes created by Waffle Stitch and the plain Double Crochet gives this design a modern effect without being too difficult to create.
This pattern has been tech edited by the wonderful (and patient) Boricuacrochet who can be found on Ravelry if you are in need of a crochet tech editor.

The 'Made for YOU by Fi' story starts at Christmas 2012. My sister gave me a book on Afghan blankets. I made a baby 'Fish Ripples' blanket from that book, took a photo and shared it on my personal FaceBook page. Someone I knew asked me to make one for her, and the rest is history!
I started with Afghans and Cowls and have moved through evening bags, scarves, hats, wrist warmers, Crocodile Shoes and am now making hooded cowls and hooded ponchos. The sky seems to be the limit, although there are some things that just don't interest me.
My motto is : "YOU choose the colour, YOU choose the size, YOU choose the thread and it will be Made for YOU by Fi".
So, if YOU want something special, it's highly likely that I can create something to fit the bill - just contact me and ask!
