Basic Skills Necessary:

  • single crochet
  • simple whip stitch with a needle and thread
  • increase and decrease
  • straight sewing on a machine (or hand sewing)

Pattern Description:

I love fabric and yarn! Put them together and you have something really special!

If you are looking for fabric, visit My Fabric Store here

I have made many of these as gifts for new mommies! Pick fabric she loves or in the colors she loves! It will be cherished like a family heirloom, never to be tossed in the thrift store bag!

I would rate this as a advanced beginner or better crocheter. A sewing machine is optional but preferable for doing up the side seems and hems. Straight, simple sewing. The crochet bodice is hand sewn on with a simple stitch. One yard of fabric is plenty for the skirt portion with ample left over for another project!

This is the same pattern as the Girly Twirly Dress!
