Lace coat worked in Tunisian crochet and broomstick lace.


16 sts and 12 rows = 4"/10cm over tss using size I/9 (5.5mm) hook.
20 sts/4 5-sc groups = 41⁄2"/11.5cm; 1 row = 11⁄4"/3cm over broomstick lace.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sized for X-Small, Small, Medium, Large and shown in size X-Small.
  • Bust 36 (38, 43.5, 48.5)"/84 (96, 110, 123)cm
  • Length 34 3⁄4 (34 3⁄4, 34 3⁄4, 34 3⁄4)"/88 (88, 88, 88)cm from shoulder to hem
  • Upper arm 11 1⁄4" (12 1⁄2, 13 3⁄4, 15)"/29 (32, 35, 38)cm


  • 9 (11, 13, 15) 1.4 oz/40g balls (each approx 168yd/153m) of Zealana Rimu 4-ply Fingering (wool/possum) in #R7 shadow (blue)
  • Size I/9 (5.5mm) Tunisian hook, flexible cable preferred due to width of bodice, OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
  • 1 size 50/25mm knitting needle
  • 9 5⁄8"/1.5cm buttons
