Here is another really easy simple crochet pattern. Worked side to side with 3/4 length sleeves. The pattern is easy to follow and really quick. And of course best of all, it is constructed as one piece, so when you're finished there's just the seam to sew up on each side!
Medium #4 (I used Bernat Giggles)
(Size 5-6 ) 218yds.
(Size 7-8) 265 yds.
(Size 10-12) 318 yds.
Size H Hook for sweater, gauge based on stitch pattern: 3 sts= 1" 2 rows= 1"
Size E Hook for Hat, gauge based on single crochet: 31/2 sts= 1" 4 rows= 1"

Ages 5/6 Finished chest measurement 24" Length from Shoulder to Hem 11"
Ages 7/8 Finished chest measurement 26" Length from Shoulder to Hem 12"
Ages 10/12 Finished chest measurement 28" Length from Shoulder to Hem 13"
Hat Pattern is written for Child (5 - 12 years) Head Circumference: 19" - 20 1/2"
