Spring is in the air especially when you take a look at this cute dress & jacket set!
Both the dress and jacket feature two-tone blue design.
The dress features a central pleat that when open reveals a darker blue. The dress is short sleeves and has a cute little bow at its center neck edge. It opens all the way up in back for easy on and off and fastens with the aid of snaps.
The jacket is front opening with large sleeves gathered at the wrists and features crochet buttons as added decoration. A two color design in the shape of a T shows off the darker blue beautifully. The sample dress was made with blues but any two colors would work equally as well.
The dress and jacket set comes with the instructions to make 3 sizes: 12 month, 18 month and 24 month baby sizes.
Both items were crochet with a large J size hook to keep the outfit light and airy.
Made using Bernat Baby Sport Yarns in Light Blue and Denim. You will also need needle to take yarn, small snaps, sewing needle and sewing thread.
Dress and jacket are made using half double crochet stitch and single crochet stitch.
This is a pattern of my own design.
Any item you make from one of my patterns you may sell. You can not sell or give the pattern away.

My mother taught me (or tried to) to crochet when I was 12. She started me out, told me to finish the round while she checked on dinner. She was amazed to find me still crocheting when she same back. I thought the round wasn't completed until I have crochet up the entire ball of yarn. I've learned a lot since then.
I love to play with colors and textures, but my all time favorite thing to do is to take something every day that hasn't been seen in crochet and then translate it into a crochet project.
I've been designing seriously for over 16 years. I have my own web site Donna's Crochet Designs and have had the good fortune to work with Maggie's Crochet, Annie's Attic and DGR to name a few.
