Beginner
This is an advanced beginning shawl pattern, worked from the top down. Once the pattern is established you only need to repeat two rows until you get to the simple edging, made mainly of chain stitches & single crochets.
It's very easy to adjust the size either by adjust yarn weights or hook sizes, simply by repeating more or less times.
I designed the shawl for self-striping yarns, but it will look equally good in a solid, tweeds, or your leftover yarn as well.
11 dc = 4"

My name is Anastacia, and I am the scrap yarn/one skein queen. I buy my yarn mainly at yard sales/thrift stores, so I got used to making do with what I could find. So most of my patterns are designed to use up the odd skeins or leftovers in your life, and are geared towards beginner crocheters or those who just want a fast, easy, but still pretty item.

Iā??m a 30 something adult living in MA. Iā??m married, have a wonderful cat named Wedgie, & I work full time. I also teach knitting & crocheting at my local Michael's & squeeze in designing as many hours as I can a week.
I do love to hear from everyone, but please remember that I am busy, just like you, & will reply as soon as I can.
All of my patterns use USA terms & abbreviations.
I try to layout my patterns as simply as possible to save money for people printing at home. My patterns are as short as possible, usually with only one photo on the first page, which you can easily skip printing to save ink.
You are free to sell any items made from my patterns at local craft fairs, donate to charity (Iā??d love to know where), auction off, etc.
