Basic slipper crochet instruction
Tutorial for the red crochet balls

I had Espadrilles in mind when I designed these shoes!
Originally very simple handmade canvas shoes, with rope-soles, produced for hundreds of years in Spain (and other places around the world, only with different names!).
The originals are difficult to find any more, the mass production industry has taken over.
But. no problem, we can make our own Espadrilles!
The most simple toe/up crochet slippers can be transferred into shoes! All we need, is to assemble an inner- and an outer sole to the slippers!
And finally, adding a treatment to the soles, which will turn your indoor shoes into outdoor shoes! Yes, you can wear them on the street as normal shoes! That(tm)s the coolest part!
I(tm)ll show you how, step by step; the slippers, the innersoles, the outer soles and the sole treatment! It(tm)s sooo simple! And great fun! Perfect project for craft-lovers!

The basic shoe pattern is worked as a slipper from toe to heel in one piece; No need of soles if you like to wear the shoes as slippers only!

With this pattern, you can achieve ALL sizes!
