This Design was inspired by the gorgeous variegated yarn
'creative poems' by Rico. I had made some slippers using the blue and brown parts of a ball and had a mixture of greens and browns left over which made me think of a trailing vine,
So I freeform crocheted this vine which could be worn as a scarf/ lariat / necklace/ belt. It would also make a gorgeous 'woodland fairy' style headwrap or a decoration for a child's bedroom or party.
You can customise the design however much you want, making it any length, adding more leaves or less, or clusters of leaves if you prefer.
If you can micro crochet
(or just reckon anything is possible if you want it enough, like me)
then you can add the life-size ladybird, or several of them.
Ladybirds are a good luck talisman, so don't wait for one to land on you, create your own luck!
gauge is not important for this project, use whatever yarn and hook you are comfortable with. I used sport weight and a 4mm hook
I am a chicken-whispering, crochet-obsessed Reflexologist with a deep connection to nature and a love of all animals but especially chickens and goats who are all totally bonkers
