Pattern Description:

This cowl is luxuriously soft and warm, with wavy ridges adding interest to the basic tubular shape. It's a great introduction to chart reading as well as increasing and decreasing in crochet and takes only a couple hours to make! The yardage required is minimal, so this is a great pattern for luxury yarn.

Gauge:

4" = 11 sts and 5.75 rounds in Ridged Chevron Stitch
Note: yarns shown usually knit at 13-18 sts to 4" in Stocking Stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Circumference: 22"
  • Length: 5.5"

Materials:

  • 90 yards aran or bulky weight yarn
  • US K (6.5mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
