Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic stitches.

Pattern Description:

A set of two really warm and cozy cowls. The cowls are extra thick as they are double layered - will be suited best for cold weather.
Makes a perfect gift!

Each cowl is different. Cowl 1 is designed ribbed, and has 3 plain stripes. Cowl 2 is plain, and has a textured set of stripes.

Really great projects for beginners to improve skills for textured pieces.


11 stitches and 7 rows = 4 inches in hdc

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • one size (fits most)
  • Heigth: 10 inches / 25 cm
  • Circumference 20 inches / 51 cm and up (the cowl is flexible)


  • Bulky weight yarn
  • Color A " 2 skeins (2 x 50 g)
  • Color B " 1 skein (1 x 50 g)
  • Hook: 7 mm

You Will Also Need:

  • Yarn needle for weaving in ends
