About the designer

If sanity counts, count me out. I'm a homeschooling mom of 3 who knits and crochets, teaches that knitting and crocheting, and designs patterns for knitting and crocheting.

Pattern Description:

Did you know that Scallops are the only migratory bivalve? They travel, or swim, by rapidly opening and closing their shells. Their repetitive and radiating fan shaped shell is iconic of seashells around the world because of this.

This pattern uses a traditional crochet motif of shells that are opened in the center and the Mbius design keeps the pattern moving constantly with no apparent beginning or end. A photo tutorial is included for how to make the twist.
