This adorable caplet and cloch set is inspired by The Twelve Days of Christmas' two turtle doves. These would make a precious hand-made holiday gift.

With each design pattern, I aim for simplicity, wearability, and the kind of timeless appeal that makes a hand crocheted item something to treasure and make an heirloom piece.

All patterns written in standard US terms.

Includes three sizes: Toddler, Child, and Adult
Uses any worsted weight yarn in a main color and white for the doves.
Very easy to work up with clear instructions (SC, DC, HDC, SLST).

Capelet: -Any worsted weight yarn for capelet (170-210 yards) -Any worsted weight yarn in white for the dove appliques (10-20 yards) -A small amount of worsted weight yarn in yellow for the beaks -Crochet hook size H (4.5mm) -Tapestry needle -(1) 1" button
Cloch: -Aran weight yarn, about 170 yd. in main color (A) and 15 yd. contrasting color (B) -Crochet hook size G (4.0 mm) -Tapestry needle
