This listing is for a crochet pattern for The Lorelai Beret, part of my Prairie Home Collection.

This adorable slouchy beret features a striking, textural sunflower motif on the back. It works up quickly and is the perfect weight for spring time. This beret would be so cute with The Susannah Bonnet as a set for sisters or a mother-daughter set!

All patterns written in standard US terms.

Sizes (all included in pattern):

-Toddler: 18-19" circumference
-Child: 20-21" circumference
-Adult: 22-23" circumference

Yarn:
Any worsted weight yarn in three colors. Suggestions included with the pattern.

Skill level:
Easy-Intermediate (SC, DC, SLST, simple instructions for 5 DC cluster and TC bobble are included).

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • -Toddler: 18-19" circumference -Child: 20-21" circumference -Adult: 22-23" circumference

Materials:

  • -Any worsted weight yarn for main color (80-100 yards) -Any worsted weight yarn in brown for center of sunflower (20-30 yards) -Any worsted weight yarn in yellow for petals (20-30 yards) -I used Lion Brand Martha Stewart Crafts Extra Soft Wool Blend in Bakery Box and Mink and Vanna's Choice in Mustard -5.0 mm crochet hook -Tapestry needle -Decorative 1" button, needle and thread to attach, if desired.

Suggested yarn:

130 yards of Worsted weight
