This listing is for a crochet pattern for The Iris Beret, part of my "The Secret Garden Collection".

This beret, along with the collection it belongs to, has been inspired by a book I enjoyed a dozen times by the time I had lived as many years, The Secret Garden. Simple, clean lines, thick, ribbed texture, and a romantic, oversized rose give this charming beret an old-fashioned, classic look.

With each design pattern, I aim for simplicity, wearability, and the kind of timeless appeal that makes a hand crocheted item something to treasure and make an heirloom piece.

All patterns written in standard US terms.

Includes three sizes:
Toddler: 18" circumference
Child: 20" circumference
Adult: 22" circumference

Uses any super-bulky weight yarn in two colors, and a 1" button, if desired.
Very easy to work up-only uses three basic stitches (SC, DC, TC).
