Pattern Description:

There is nothing more epic than a tiny little superman. What a cute photo opportunity with this darling costume, or wonderful Christmas present for the superhero-loving toddler!

There are step-by-step directions with lots of illustrations, and one-on-one assistance if required.

With J hook and worsted weight yarn, Ch 21

ROW 1: Sc in second ch from hook and all the way across (20)
ROW 2: Ch 2, turn. Dc in each stitch across (20)
ROW 3: Ch 3, turn. Trc in each stitch across (20)
ROW 4: Ch 2, turn. Dc in each stitch across (20)
ROW 5: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each stitch across (20). Finish off.

Swatch should measure 8" X 3"

  • Hat - 12" circumferance
  • Large Logo - 6" X 5"
  • Small Logo - 4" X 3.5"
  • Cape Length - 13"
  • Cape Strap - 18"
  • Width of Bottom of Cape - 10"
  • Width of Top of Cape - 6"


  • Size J crochet hook
  • Size G crochet hook
  • Size E crochet hook
  • Yarn - blue
  • Yarn - yellow
  • Yarn - red

You Will Also Need:

  • Velcro/Buttons for Neck closure
  • Canvass needle for sewing in ends/logo
