Pattern Description:

This is a PDF pattern for fun stocking cap with several options. Make it a solid color with a white fuzzy brim and a pom-pom for an Elf or Santa hat, or try stripes with a ribbed brim and a tassel, or any combination of those options. Directions are included on how to make the hat longer for any size.

All of my patterns are written using Standard U.S. Crochet Terminology.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 0-3 months: 12-14" circumference
  • 3-6 months: 14-16" circumference
  • 6-12 months: 16-18" circumference
  • 12-24 months: 17-19" circumference
  • Toddler: 18-19" circumference
  • Child: 19-20" circumference
  • Teen: 20-21" circumference
  • Adult: 21-22" circumference
  • Large Adult: 22-24" circumference

Materials:

  • 2 skeins worsted weight yarn
  • 1 skein "5" weight fuzzy white yarn (optional)
  • "J" (6 mm) crochet hook
