I love the look of slouch beanies and am on a current crochet shells kick with my designs so this is what happened when the 2 collided. :)

This stylish hat is worked from the bottom edge up and is sewn closed at the crown in the final step.

Gauge:

5 stitches, 1 row per inch on a size I9 crochet hook in single crochet stitch
