This design is easily adapted to suit any length of necklace. For the sample piece I started with a 100g ball of Patons Cotton 4ply in green and used about half, the white needed about half a 50g ball. The finished necklace measured about 16"/40cm.
The necklace would look stunning crocheted in pure white for a wedding.

I have a lifetime of experience in craftwork, my Grandma taught me to knit and sew before I started school. In my twenties I designed jewellery, in my thirties I learned the basics of blacksmithing and designed wrought ironwork.
Since then I've taught myself myself how to embroider cross-stitch, work macrame, and more importantly, how to crochet.
I take great pleasure in creating new patterns and I'm sure you will enjoy crocheting them as much as I did designing them.
Thank you for choosing my designs & supporting handmade :)
