Once upon a time I was a professional costume designer/builder. Then I met a boy. You know how that goes. Now I am a Stay At Home Mom in NJ. We have twin girls who were born in July '07. The artist in me can not stay still, and we could use more income, so here I am! I love creating knit and crochet patterns, sewing (obviously!), book making, well...creating just about anything.
We also have a creative hobby. In some of our free time we are Medieval Re-creationists.
You can learn more about me, and see lots of fun snaps of my children and other creations on my blog, ~or~ You can keep tabs on my creations on my facebook page, both are linked below with my other crafty pages.

Practice your puff stitches and make this attractive choker all at the same time. This choker is great for an evening out, or just used to dress up a tee shirt and jeans. Try adding some beads for a more glamorous look! Make this choker with or without a border, or make it shorter for a bracelet. There is also a video for the visual learners!
Crochet thread through worsted weight, any will do. The thicker the yarn, the wider the choker.
ch ~ Chain
sl st ~ Slip Stitch
puff st ~ Puff Stitch: [yo, insert hook into st, yo, pull through st] 4 times, all in the same st (9 loops on hook), yo, pull through all 9 loops, puff stitch made.
Use the hook that coordinates with your yarn
Any, just stop when the choker is the correct length.
