Pattern Description:

This Owl Hat was going to be apart of a costume that I wanted to make for my youngest daughter. The costume never got finished, but the hat did! It's the perfect hat for any child, boy or girl. The sizing can be adjusted by chaining more or less for the foundation and crocheting more or less rounds. With a hat so easy to customize, you'll be designing your own hat in no time flat!

The body of the hat uses less than one skein of yarn, so you could easily whip up two or more hats with just one skein of Red Heart Super Saver. The eyes, beak and pupils can be done using yarn scraps.

Very easy to make, I found the pattern a bit tricky to follow but common sense will help you through. I may just be used to different crochet abbreviations. I increased the pattern to make an adult hat, I basically doubled everything and when this fit round my head I went from there. looks great!
