Hi there! My name is Heidi. I've been creating with my hands for as long as I can remember. Currently, I'm a Mom who loves to crochet and design fun toys and accessories! I truly enjoy creating something out of such simple tools.
I hope you will join me in my yarn adventures . Most of the patterns use basic crochet stitches and are crocheted in the round. All are offered as instant PDF downloads. Many progress photos are often included. If you ever have any questions about any of my patterns, send me a message.

Have fun crocheting!
Have a blessed day!
This pattern was inspired by my daughter's love of the popular monsters inc and university movies.
To complete this pattern, you will need:
*Crochet hook I
*Crochet hook H
*Red Heart Super Saver, spring green, aqua, white, black (less than a skein each)
*White felt, pink felt, scissors
*12mm black toy eye
Fiberfill stuffing, small amount
half double crochet
If you are making this backpack for a child younger than 3 years old, I recommend embroidering or crocheting the eyes.
This character backpack is a lot of fun to make and will be great gift for your child or grandchild.
Variations included for making a purse instead and for making Cookie Monster backpack
