so cute, love the pattern , i like the eyes.
I agree with all the comments here. I made this for my daughter. It worked up quickly and came out adorable! I used Simply Soft Party yarn by Caron in silver sparkle for the goggles and they looked like they could be the metal rim of goggles...I loved the results. Thanks for this pattern, Lizzziee!
After crocheting blankets for many years (the first thing I made was a baby blanket for my Cabbage Patch Kid), I decided to try making a hat. My 3-year-old son's favourite movie is Despicable Me, and he loved the picture so I decided to try. I was amazed that it was so easy! I made it in about 2 evenings, it looks so great that everyone asks where we bought it (and are surprised when I say I made it) and he refuses to take it off whenever he gets it on his head. I've had lots of people ask if I wanted to make one to sell them. Thanks so much for the great pattern!!!! You've opened a whole new world of crocheting to me (in a house that's too full of blankets).
I am thrilled to hear that your son loves his hat! I designed this pattern for a little boy who loved that movie and I am glad it is still making little ones smile. Thank you so much for sharing, I am happy to hear that you are enjoying my pattern and getting so many compliments too.
I just made this hat for a friends' three year old and he loves it. I did make a couple changes but you can see the finished product at ravelry.com. I added your pattern to their database so you may be seeing more traffic!
I am so glad that she loves the hat and thank you for sharing my pattern! I Love the blue on yours, that is perfect! I recently made one for a little girl and I added a pink bow in the hair and bright blue around the edge. Thanks again :)
