Pattern Description:

A bonnet designed to look as delicate and beautiful as the those first flowers of spring. As winter melts away, crocus flowers bring a new promise of life with their unassuming presence. This patten is easy to understand and includes pictures for assistance. The little love in your life will be darling as she smiles up at you from under the ruffled brim, no matter how mischievous that smile is :)


14 stitches x 11 rows of HDC with 5.00MM (H) hook= 4x4 inch square.
Use a light medium (4) weight yarn
*Note- heavier worsted weight yarn will work if used to gauge, but some of the patterned look will be lost

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Newborn
  • 1-3 month
  • 3-6 month
  • 6-12 month


  • 100-150m medium (4) weight yarn-Pictured in Martha Stewart Crafts, extra soft wool blend
  • 45 inches ribbon- 5/16 inch width fits well
  • Yarn needle
