Leaflines Shawlette

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Working front and back post stitches.

Pattern Description:

The Leaflines Shawlette features a cable pattern reminiscent of the veins on leaves and leaf-like shapes. The shawlette is worked outwards from the center of the top edge and finished with a beaded edging. The intermediate-level design requires the ability to work and recognize front and back post stitches.

The pattern in is US crochet terminology and is partially charted.


First 15 rows are 11" along top edge and 4" from top edge to center point after blocking.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 48" along top edge, 18" from top edge to center point.


  • E/4 (3.5 mm) hook or as required to obtain desired drape.
  • 294 8/0 or 6/0 seed beads for edging.

You Will Also Need:

  • 4 stitch markers.
  • Beading wire or crochet hook to place beads.
  • Needle to weave in ends.

Suggested yarn:

880 yards of Lace weight
