Pattern Description:

This is a PDF crochet pattern for a sweet vintage-style bonnet with a shell stitch and crocheted ties, in six sizes. Optional: add a fabric flower.

Gauge:

15 stitches and 9 rows in half double crochet = 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • newborn: 12-13" circumference
  • 0-3 months: 13-14" circumference
  • 3-6 months: 14-16" circumference
  • 6-12 months: 16-18" circumference
  • toddler/child: 18-19" circumference
  • teen/adult: 20-22" circumference

Materials:

  • worsted weight yarn
  • "J" (6 mm) crochet hook
