Pattern Description:

Explore crochet that drapes! Puff stitches and lace combine with super fine yarn to create a wonderfully textured, yet light as air hat. Work it slouchy or as a light, loose beanie with the simple modifications included in the pattern.

Gauge:

(Before Blocking): 28 sts over 16 rows measures 4"/10 cm in pattern st with larger hook.
Gauge (Blocked): 26 sts over 15 rows measures 4"/10 cm in pattern st with larger hook

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Circumference of hat measures:18.5" (47 cm) un-stretched, and will stretch to fit up to 23" head circumference. One size will stretch to fit most.

Materials:

  • Approx. 350 yds/321 m of lace weight yarn
  • Size D-3 (3.25 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Size B-2 (2.25 mm) crochet hook (for ribbing)
