Pattern Description:

Katie is a cute, cozy earflap beanie featuring beautiful cables and large puff stitches. The hat is accented with lovely braided ties and a pretty pom pom on top! This hat is perfect for winter walks and playing in the snow! The pattern comes with easy to follow step-by-step instructions and helpful, clear photos.

This is an original design, using US crochet terms. You may not copy, distribute or sell this pattern as your own design, but feel free to sell finished hats made from this pattern!

Gauge:

4 dc with H hook = 1", and 2 rows of dc with H hook = 0.9". Hat should measure 3.5" in diameter after Rnd 3, and 6.5" in diameter after Rnd 6.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One size fits most. Hat measures approximately 20.5" around and 7" long (not including the pom pom or earflaps).

Materials:

  • Hook: Size H/8 (5mm) or size to obtain correct gauge.
  • Large Premade Pom Pom OR 20 yards worsted weight yarn and a piece of sturdy cardboard 3.5" wide.

You Will Also Need:

  • Yarn needle
  • Tape measure
  • 4 Stitch markers
