The pattern is double soled and has toe reinforcement to help them keep their adorable shape.
They can be made with Bulky (#5 weight) yarn or two strands held together of lighter worsted weight (#4 weight) or dk weight (#3 weight) yarn.

The pattern is written in STANDARD AMERICAN TERMS.
