This is an intermediate to advanced pattern. It comes with a chart of the pattern stitch to aid you with your cowl. It requires a knowledge of post stitches and a willingness to follow a reasonably tricky stitch pattern, although once you've done it a couple of times it becomes easier :).
So here it is! The Frostberry Cowl, made especially to be worn with the Frostberry Hat although it is a piece that will stand alone as well.
Frostberry Cowl uses the same textured stitch pattern as the hat and is accented by optional buttons and bands emphasizing the smooth front post section. It can be made in a fine dk weight yarn or a sports weight yarn. Look for a yarn that is approximately 150yds per 50gms.
Frostberry comes in the following sizes...
Circumference (after washing and blocking).
Small (S): 21" 53.5cm
Medium (M): 22" 56cm
Large (L): 23" 59cm
Extra large (XL): 24" 61cm
Width: 8" 20cm
It uses 250 - 350yds of DK or sports weight yarn.
This pattern has been tested and tech edited before release.
