Just in time for spring occasions, here is an adorable carrot shaped purse or bag that can be used for so many things. You also get a 2nd pattern for a play time carrot toy that fits inside the bag.
Use as a snack bag, small toy tote for short car trips, gift bag for sweet treats for teachers or friends for Easter. It would even be a good place for pencils, crayons, and a small writing pad.
There are options for making it a wrist-let or a purse.
Carrot toy is also a good baby safe toy. Add a jingle bell for a cute toddler toy. (Kitties would love it too!)
It works up very quickly and can be finished in a day.
You will need:
?Worsted weight yarn, #4, pumpkin / orange, 1 - 2 ounces
?Worsted weight yarn, #4, spring green, 1-2 ounces
?Crochet hook H/5.00mm
?Polyester stuffing for toy carrot
?Blunt end yarn needle for attaching pieces
Skill level: Easy, great for beginners

Hi there! My name is Heidi. I've been creating with my hands for as long as I can remember. Currently, I’m a stay-at-home Mom of four children who loves to crochet as a necessary outlet for my creativity and started a small craft business venture. I learned how to crochet quite a few years ago but the skill got forgotten in the crazy chaos of life. About 3 years ago, as a way to enjoy some of the simple joys in life, I re-discovered the incredible art of crochet and it is now my new passion. I love creating something out of such simple tools. My favorite is making toys. As my skills have developed, I realized how much I enjoyed creating my own patterns. My children started making requests for toys and I share my patterns here with you. If only my fingers could move as fast as the ideas come to me!
I hope you will join me in my yarn adventures as I continue to design unique toys and accessories for kids of ALL ages. Most of the patterns use basic crochet stitches and are crocheted in the round. All are offered as instant PDF downloads. Many progress photos are often included. I hope you are inspired to create something unique and fun! If you ever have any questions about any of my patterns, I will get back to you as soon as I can
Feel free to make and sell the finished toys you create from my patterns. You are the one creating them but please respect my copyright. Do not sell, alter, change, copy or share the pattern itself.
