This cap features a pretty open stitch pattern which starts right at the crown, wide band and a sweet flower. It is quick to make up (1-2 hours in front of the TV!), and looks great in traditional girly colours as well as more modern hues such as choc brown. A great hat for all seasons.
Sc worked over 7 stitches and 8 rows measures 2 inches square using hook 6mm (US J)

I first learned to crochet at school camp when I was about 11 years old. I have crochted on and off for years but really took it up again with a vengeance about seven years ago as a way to keep myself stimulated (and sane!) whilst being home with my two babies.
I now have a successful pattern design business which I love. My head is constantly full of ideas and my house overflows with balls ...
