Pattern Description:

Baby girls need some kind of foot jewelry all their own. So, these barefoot baby sandals are perfect. Your baby girl will certainly make a fashion statement wearing these. The toe loop goes around the 2nd toe and the ankle ties tie in the back above the heel. For an even different look, the ankle ties can be made longer and wrapped around the ankle in a ballerina fashion making them oh so cute! Add a tiny bug button for an even cuter summer look as shown in the photos. Use a heavier weight yarn for toddler on up to adult sizes. Featured photos are made using #3 cotton crochet thread. Instructions for making those are also included in the pattern. Some children are getting very creative and wearing these as hand jewelry by placing the loop around the index or middle finger.

I absolutely love crafting, or maybe I should say cross-crafting!. At 9, my mother taught me how to crochet and sew. I thank her for teaching me that sitting in front of the television or some form of electronic device was a waste of valuable time when I could use my creative energy to bring joy to others through items that are handmade.

Thanks for visiting my shop!
