Pattern Description:

Made with crochet thread, this headband pattern offers two width options. The narrow width is designed for use as a decorative hairband. The wide headband is designed to be worn as winter headwear. Each one features a top/bottom contrasting border and is accented by a chain loop flower motif.

This pattern is written in U.S. crochet terminology.

Gauge (C hook)
14 sc/dc pattern = 2 1/2 inches wide
9 sc/dc pattern rows = 2 inches

Materials:

  • C, F hooks
  • 1 spool size 3 (150 yards) Aunt Lydia's Fashion crochet thread in White
  • 1 spool size 3 (150 yards) Aunt Lydia's Fashion crochet thread in Blue Hawaii
  • 1 hank of DMC 25 (8.7 yards) #561 green embroidery floss [per flower]
  • Yarn needle or large eyed sewing needle big enough to handle crochet thread
  • Small eyed sewing needle & white all-purpose sewing thread
  • 1 (1/2 inch diameter) gold colored shank button or (3/4 inch diameter) gold round shank button
  • Staright pins, tape measure, stitch marker
