Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Working stitches in back loops

Pattern Description:

A set of stylish slouchy beanie and open work cowl - eye-catching and bold looking.
The cowl in "eyes" stitch pattern will look its' best worn two times around the neck.
The smaller hook used for the ribbing of the hat will give a perfect fit, the neon gives just the perfect amount of color pop.
3 sizes available.
No sewing necessary.

Gauge:

9 stitches and 5 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in dc in back loop with larger hook

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • COWL - One size. Cowl width 11 in/ 28 cm. Cowl circumference - 70 in / 177 cm.
  • HAT sizes S (M; L). Head circumference 22 in (23 in; 24 in) / 56 cm (58.5 cm; 61 cm). Height 11 in/ 28 cm.

Materials:

  • Bulky weight yarn, CYCA #5
  • Color A - 2 skeins (3.53 oz / 100 g) = 262 yd / 240 m
  • Color B - 1 skein (3.53 oz / 100 g) = 131 yd / 120 m
  • Larger Hook (LH) - M/N / 13 / 9 mm or adjust the hook to obtain gauge
  • Smaller Hook (SH) - K / 10.5 / 6.5 mm (for hat only)

You Will Also Need:

  • Yarn needle for weaving in ends.
