Looking for an easy way to keep your ears and forehead warm for especially chilly days?
Here is a very versatile pattern that is quick to whip up. As a bonus, there are ideas for the winter holidays.
Three fun designs and ideas are included for:
The Turkey and Gingerbread boy and girl
So much fun!
It's been getting very cold where we are and I was looking for something different than another hat. This wide and chunky ribbed headband / ear warmer is what I came up with. It can also be used as a neck warmer because it is so thick! And it's easy to get on and off because of the buttons on the back. Only basic sewing skills needed. If you don't want the buttons, no problem. There is an option for keeping it button-less. Of course, it can also be made without all the fun embellishments and be kept plain. It's still pretty that way too. Use any colors. Good for men and boys too.
This is a very easy pattern that you could finish in a day or a weekend, depending on your skill and time. These would make cute Christmas stocking stuffers and gifts for co-workers, teachers and friends. You also have permission to sell any of your creations :)
Even if you don't have chunky yarn, you can also use two strands of #4 medium worsted weight yarn. Try different color combinations.
The thickness makes it very warm.
I hope you like it.

Hi there! My name is Heidi. I've been creating with my hands for as long as I can remember. Currently, I’m a stay-at-home Mom of four children who loves to crochet as a necessary outlet for my creativity and started a small craft business venture. I learned how to crochet quite a few years ago but the skill got forgotten in the crazy chaos of life. About 3 years ago, as a way to enjoy some of the simple joys in life, I re-discovered the incredible art of crochet and it is now my new passion. I love creating something out of such simple tools. My favorite is making toys. As my skills have developed, I realized how much I enjoyed creating my own patterns. My children started making requests for toys and I share my patterns here with you. If only my fingers could move as fast as the ideas come to me!
I hope you will join me in my yarn adventures as I continue to design unique toys and accessories for kids of ALL ages. Most of the patterns use basic crochet stitches and are crocheted in the round. All are offered as instant PDF downloads. Many progress photos are often included. I hope you are inspired to create something unique and fun! If you ever have any questions about any of my patterns, I will get back to you as soon as I can
Feel free to make and sell the finished toys you create from my patterns. You are the one creating them but please respect my copyright. Do not sell, alter, change, copy or share the pattern itself.
