Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Read a crochet Pattern

Pattern Description:

Patterns make up quickly for that little boy who likes to play dress-up or for a Halloween costume. Patterns include a Fireman's Hat sizes 3 months - 4 years, and a Fireman's badge. Beginning-Intermediate Crochet skills required.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 3 months to 4 years


  • Fireman Hat: Sizes G hook for small (0-6 months) or size I hook for large (toddler.) Size 8 crochet hook for hat star emblem. 2 oz. Red worsted weight yarn. 1/8 ounce black worsted weight yarn. 1/4 ounce white worsted weight yarn. About 10 yards of gold or yellow cotton crochet thread. Darning needle and sewing needle.
  • Fire Chief's Badge: About 10 Yards each of Red and Black Cotton Crochet threads - Size 10. About 12 Yards of Silver Cotton Crochet thread - Size 5. Size 8 (1.50 MM) steel crochet hook. One 1" steel pin back. Fabric stiffener. Hot glue gun and glue.
