Basic Skills Necessary:

Pattern Description:

Combine openwork diamond lace with luxuriously soft hand-painted cashmere, and you've got the perfect one skein gift for your best friendor for yourself! This supple scarf can easily be lengthened if you have two skeins, or try working it in fingering or lace weight yarn and a tiny hook for a more delicate scale.

Gauge:

17 dc worked over 10 rows in pattern measures 4"/10 cm wide by 5"/12.5 cm tall.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Scarf measures about 41"/104cm long and 6"/15cm wide, blocked.
  • Includes information on making a longer scarf if you have more yarn.

Materials:

  • Approx. 160 yds/ 146m of sport weight yarn
  • Size I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
