Pattern Description:

This pattern is very simple and able to be completely customized to ANY size you need. There are some measurements included as guidelines to help you.

The usual tutu skirt will have knots that stand out and can detract from the design. This pattern hides those knots so that your skirt has a more finished & fashionable look!

A perfect photography prop or fashion accessory! Let your imagination take over with different colors and styles of tulle ~ solids, glimmer, shimmer, polka dot ~ the combinations are truly endless!

Gauge is not crucial. Use whatever hook & yarn you choose to achieve your desired effect. Example is done in I Love This Yarn & an H hook.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Newborn - Adult/Plus size (determined by elastic length for waistband)

Materials:

  • Rolls of 6" wide x 25 yards tulle ~ one roll per color ~ more for teen/adult sizes or long lengths
  • 1/2", 3/4" or 1" elastic for waistband ~ use wider elastic for the larger sizes (10 & up should use 1" wide)
  • Worsted or Aran yarn ~ 1 skein of desired color
  • H or I hook ~ whichever you prefer, gauge not crucial

  • Sewing needle & thread
  • Yarn needle
  • Tape measure
  • Scissors
