Here is my textured earflap hat crochet pattern. Featuring the same stitch pattern as my best selling newsboy cap, this design adds some funky braids and a little contrast trim. Lovely hat for both boths and girls. Instructions for a three layer blossom are included for the girl's version. A wooden button makes a lovely finishing touch for the boys version.
Sc worked over 15 ch and 15 rows measures 4 inches square using hook 5.0mm (US H).

I first learned to crochet at school camp when I was about 11 years old. I have crochted on and off for years but really took it up again with a vengeance about seven years ago as a way to keep myself stimulated (and sane!) whilst being home with my two babies.
I now have a successful pattern design business which I love. My head is constantly full of ideas and my house overflows with balls ...
